The new audio guides are tools designed for the wide range of tourist cities of art and Parks who prefer to discover the areas in complete privacy and autonomy of time, motion, curiosity. Transferred together with the agile map of the area of Murgia Timone new audio players will guide a true story sound, to facilitate an immediate and evocative interpretation of the heritage of the Park, with specific reference to archaeological and historical art.
A journey through some sites and monuments, traces the key stages of human presence in Matera and the Stone Age when people living in the Neolithic village of Murgia Timone were devoted to the first forms of agriculture and livestock, polishing of stone axes and the manufacture of ceramics. In the same way you tell the villages and cave churches of the medieval (St. Nicholas the Appian Way, San Falcione, Sant’Agnese, Our Lady of the Three Doors and Madonna delle Croci) to recent rural structures Jazz Kitten and Masseria Radogna.
The audio guides are available at the visitor center Jazz Kitten and the cost of rental is EUR 5,00 (special rates for families and groups).
