The comments are wildlife, obviously, the least programmable. In the months between March and September, but, you can almost certainly vouch for the sighting of the lesser kestrel. Attend the plateau to feed and commuting all day to feed their broods in the city. Remain suspended in the sky a few feet from the ground, in the characteristic figure of the "spiritosanto", to dive from time to time to surprise and beat their preferred prey: the cuculligere (succulent grasshoppers whose remains are found later in wads).
Other rare birds of prey: the Egyptian vulture (a vulture in Italy now has very few breeding pairs), Lanner falcons, lodolaio, pecchiaiolo, rare eagle owl. It is also not difficult to see the black kite el'allodola crested, sometimes happen to see the hoopoe, more difficult for the jays Marine. Among the mammals, with a little 'luck, may have seen the fox and the hare and porcupine you can find the route is abraded from the soil in search of bulbs of Asphodel and the spikes lost; of moles is easy to see the "Montagnella" land at the mouth of the tunnels. Summer Walking in if you are lucky you will meet some harmless snake: the cervone that easily reaches and exceeds five feet in length, the snake easily recognizable as an adult for the black color. Only if you are lucky might see The Viper will also be harmless if not disturbed.
