MADONNA DELLE TRE PORTE

So’ According to the three entrance arches leading to three separate speakers, the Church is today only two of the three naves apsidal room, being the most’ outside was destroyed by repeated collapses due to erosion by the ’ of atmospheric.
The Church is also decorated by some small niches and many crosses graphit.
Like other religious rock complexes of ’ area, near the Church can be found the remains of a medieval pecchiara (Apiary).

Wonderful frescoes are visible in the nave: a Deesis with Christ, the Virgin and St John, and a representation of Madonna del melograno, attributed to the Master of Miglionico protagonist of fresh paint lucana in second half of the 15th century.
In the nave interior is in a crucifixion ’ apse, While on a wall Annunciation (15th century) and a Byzantine Madonna Queen (Merciful ") enthroned with child of the 13th century. In 1962 due to the total neglect in which paid the Church (pastoral was used as shelter), most of the interesting frescoes were stolen and posted by unknown.
